Kirkwood Community College will host opening-round games in the 2013 Region XI Division II basketball tournaments on Wednesday night instead of Tuesday.

The games were postponed one day due to a winter storm warning.

The Kirkwood women's basketball team (26-4) will host Ellsworth (11-19) in the opening round at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson Hall.

The Kirkwood men's basketball team (18-12) will face NIACC (19-11) in the second game of the doubleheader Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

The entire women's tournament will shift to Southeastern Community College in Keokuk for the semifinals and finals on Friday and Saturday.

The men's tournament will continue Thursday and Saturday with the highest remaining seeds hosting those games.
