OTTUMWA - The eighth-ranked Kirkwood volleyball team defeated Indian Hills, 25-18, 24-26, 25-12, 25-15, in a junior college match Thursday night in Ottumwa.

Alicen Wintermote led a balanced attack with 12 kills and seven blocks for Kirkwood. Erin Walker contributed 10 kills and 15 digs. Heather Poula collected nine kills and 11 digs.

Chelsea Gryp had seven kills and eight digs. Payton Hilton pitched in with seven kills.

Amber Timmins passed the wealth around with 36 assists and had 10 digs. Cali Beyer came up with 17 digs.

Kirkwood raised its record to 12-4.
