POLK CITY - Kirkwood's Nathan Chilcott took nine more shots than a day earlier to get around the Tournament Club of Iowa on Tuesday in the final round of the Grand View Viking Classic.

But Chilcott still held on for a three-stroke victory.

Chilcott was medalist and the Eagles finished third in the nine-team event.

Grand View won by six strokes over second-place Mount Mercy. Kirkwood was 10 shots back.

Mount Mercy's Jacob Selander tied for second. Former Linn-Mar prep Ryan Schrimper tied for 21st golfing for the Mustangs.
