NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Kiah Stokes enrolled at the University of Connecticut three years ago to win an NCAA basketball title.

Now she has two.

Stokes grabbed eight rebounds and scored four points as UConn whipped Notre Dame, 79-58, Tuesday night for its second straight NCAA title and ninth in school history.

Stokes, a 6-foot-3 center from Linn-Mar, played 13 minutes in the championship game at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. She also contributed two assists and one steal.
