LETTS – The Kennedy wrestling team crowned three champions and took third place at the Falcon Invitational with 128 points Saturday at Louisa-Muscatine.

Mediapolis won the tournament with 234 points.

Ben Sarasin won the 138-pound title for the Cougars with a 7-5 decision over Mason Buster of Mediapolis. Logan Rodriguez won at 145 with a 10-5 decision over Logan Grimm of Wapello. Dalles Jacobus pinned Ryland Crawford of Louisa-Muscatine in 1 minute, 17 seconds for the title at 220.

Cam Shaver was second at 106 for Kennedy, suffering a pin in 1:07 to Hunter Walker of Wapello in the final.

Garrett Kubovec (170) and Sam Pape (182) each took third place for the Cougars, Cam Roehlik was fourth at 152, Matt Murphy was fifth at 285 and Jack Nolan was sixth at 195.
