Iowa City High edged Kennedy, 2-1, in PK Shootout Tuesday night between two of the top Class 3A boys soccer teams in the state.

Iowa City High is ranked No. 2 and Kennedy is ranked No. 3, and their battle lasted well into the night.

The Little Hawks prevailed in the PK Shootout, 4-3.

Mark Schulz scored Kennedy's goal in regulation in the 53rd minute with an assist from Sameeullah Jung. Iowa City High tied the match in the 62nd minute on a goal by Adam Nicholson.
