Bre Smith of Marion is the winner of the Metro Spotlight Award for high school girls this week, the Metro Sports Report announced Sunday.

Smith, a senior, is one of the top bowlers in the state. She leads the Metro area with a 204.4 average and ranks fourth among all bowlers in the state.

Smith has rolled a high-game this year of 224 and a high-series of 438.

Smith finished ninth at the Class 2A state meet last year when she rolled a two-game series of 201-193=394.
