MARSHALL, Mo. - The ninth-ranked Mount Mercy men's volleyball team  raised its record to 5-0 in the Heart of America Conference Saturday  night with a 3-1 victory over Missouri Valley.

Mount Mercy lost the first set 25-23, then fired back and won the next  three sets 25-18, 25-22 and 25-21.

Julian Armendano collected 17 kills and 10 digs for the Mustangs, who  raised their record to 13-5 overall. Nikola Stoimenov contributed 17  kills and five aces.

Strahil Svilenski had nine kills and seven blocks. Evan Gaskill  finished with eight kills and 14 digs. Ben Steffen had seven kills and  Andrew Colatone meshed it all together with 53 assists.
