The Mount Mercy women's volleyball team defeated Clarke, 3-0, Saturday  in a tight Heart of America Conference match at the Hennessey  Recreation Center.

The Mustangs prevailed, 25-19, 30-28, 25-23, with two of the sets  decided by two points.

Mount Mercy raised its records to 15-7 overall and 5-4 in the  conference. Clarke fell to 16-6 overall and 5-4 in the league.

Maddie Bell finished with 16 kills and six blocks for the Mustangs.  Kayla Daggett rolled up 36 assists. Gabi Delsing made 26 digs and  Olivia Makinen had 12 digs.
