Mustangs fall to 1-10 in Heart

The Mount Mercy women's basketball team lost to Culver-Stockton,  71-55, in a Heart of America Conference game at the Hennessey  Recreation Center Wednesday night.

The Mustangs fell to 4-12 overall and 1-10 in the conference.  Culver-Stockton raised its records to 11-7 overall and 7-5 in the  league.

Sarah Moffett led Mount Mercy with 17 points and eight rebounds.  Brianna Thomas scored 12 points and Sandra Mia netted 11.

Ryan Dooley led Culver-Stockton with 19 points.

CULVER-STOCKTON (71): Green 5-9 3-5 13, Harper 0-4 4-4 4, Dooley 6-19  4-4 19, Curley 4-12 2-2 10, Sailor 3-6 1-3 7, Hugenberg 0-7 0-0 0,  Ogle 0-1 0-0 0, Guehne 1-2 0-0 2, Nelson 0-4 0-0 0, Makanda 0-2 4-5 4,  Playter 0-1 0-0 0, Summers 4-8 4-6 12. Totals 23-75 22-29 71.
