Ben Steffen collected eight kills and five blocks Friday night as the  Mount Mercy men's volleyball team swept Graceland, 25-18, 25-17,  25-22, in a Heart of America Conference match at the Hennessey  Recreation Center.

The Mustangs squared their records at 1-1 overall and 1-1 in the  league, following a season-opening loss to top-ranked Grand View.

Evan Gaskill matched Steffen with eight kills for the Mutsangs.

Ben Ruggles dished out 30 assists and had seven digs. Tiago Almeida also  had seven digs. Nikola Stoimenov matched Steffen with five blocks.
