ROCHESTER, Minn. - Krysta Tutsch hit a three-run homer Friday night as the Kirkwood softball team blanked Grand View, 7-0, in the second game of a doubleheader at the Rochester Dome in Minnesota.

Grand View won the opener, 3-1.

Shyanne Saladino and Sam Belz combined on a five-hit shutout in the nightcap as the sixth-ranked Eagles split their first two games of the year. Saladino pitched five innings and struck out five batters. Belz fanned two batters in two innings.

Leah Duffe, Kayla Tatge and Tutsch had two hits apiece for Kirkwood in Game 2.

Amber Logemann tossed a complete game for the Eagles in the opener. She struck out 12 batters and allowed five hits.

Kelsie Campbell hit a solo homer for Kirkwood's only run in Game 1. Kristen Winter, Shelby Crist and Campbell had two hits.
