No.16 Eagles fall at Lincoln

LINCOLN, Ill. - Aaron Simpson poured in 24 points Saturday as Lincoln College handed Kirkwood its first loss of the season, 85-71.

Myzeah Batie-Gaddy led Kirkwood (3-1) with 16 points. Taylor Olson hit four 3-pointers and finished with 15 points and four steals. Joseph Tagarelli contributed 15 points and nine rebounds. Jalen Currie scored 10 points for the Eagles.

Darren Davidson scored 17 points for Lincoln (3-1). The Lynx led at halftime, 34-30.

 

The referees called 50 fouls in the 40-minute game, with 27 fouls against Kirkwood and 23 against Lincoln. There also were three technical fouls.
