Kirkwood Community College and NIACC have traded places in the NJCAA Division II women's basketball rankings this week.

Kirkwood is ranked No.2 and NIACC has assumed its rightful spot at the top of the poll.

Kirkwood lost a thriller to NIACC last Saturday in overtime, 115-111, in a showdown of the No.1 and No.2 teams in the country. They'll meet again Feb. 5 at Kirkwood.

The Kirkwood men stayed No.16 in their poll this week.
