PANORA —  Nathan Chilcott fired a 5-over-par 77 Friday to help Kirkwood Community College grab second place after the first round of the AIB Invitational at the Lake Panorama Golf Course in Panora.

AIB leads the 12-team tournament at 310. Kirkwood is just three shots back at 313.

Keegan Bak of Morningside set the pace on Day 1 of the 36-hold tournament with a 3-over 75. The final round is scheduled for Saturday.
