Brandon Horman has been promoted to become the new boys basketball coach

at Cedar Rapids Jefferson, the school announced Monday afternoon.

Horman replaces Stu Ordman, who resigned after the season to become the

new head coach at Iowa City Regina.

Horman has spent the last six years with the Jefferson basketball program

and served as the co-head coach this past season.

"Brandon will work hard to instill the tradition of J-Hawk basketball in

student-athletes and bring about changes that they can be proud of and

excited for," said Jefferson activities director Chris Deam.
