DECORAH - Jessica Franson of Coe College shot a 16-over-par 88 Friday to stand in 15th place after the first day of the Luther Invitational golf tournament.
The Kohawks are in fifth place in the standings out of eight teams.
Hannah Long of Wartburg shot a 79 to take the first-day lead. Wartburg sits atop the team standings.
