RoughRiders skate by Waterloo, 6-2

WATERLOO - Dylan McLaughlin and Eric Foley scored two goals Friday night as the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders dumped Waterloo, 6-2, in a USHL game before 2,615 fans at Young Arena in Waterloo.

The RoughRiders raised their record to 4-1 heading into Saturday night's game at Madison.

Cedar Rapids was clinging to a 2-1 lead in the second period when McLaughlin scored on a power play. Foley added another power-play goal to begin the scoring in the third period for a comfortable 4-1 advantage

Charlie Curti and Cal Burle also scored for the RoughRiders. Ben Blacker made 37 saves in goal.
