Linn-Mar senior Calvin Greve has accepted an offer to swim in college at the University of Minnesota.

Greve placed seventh in the 100 backstroke at the state meet last season as a junior. He got a late start to his swimming career but has been impressive on the AAU circuit with the Cedar Rapids Aquatics Association.

Greve has qualified for the Winter Juniors in the 200 backstroke. He is also a top student in the classroom.
