PELLA - Coe heavyweight Kirk Owens pinned Jamie Miranda Thursday night to give the fifth-ranked Kohawks a 23-16 victory over Central College in an Iowa Conference dual meet at the Kuyper Gym in Pella.

The Kohawks won the meet even though fourth-ranked Ryan Sheldon lost at 184 pounds and third-ranked Donnie Horner was upset at 197.

Brody Beck collected a pin for Coe at 157 pounds. Farai Sewera won by technical fall at 165. Luke Kremer (141) and Josh Donkle (149) won decisions for the Kohawks.
