NORFOLK, Neb. - The third-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team sputtered on the offensive end of the floor Saturday and lost to Northeast (Neb.), 56-46, in a junior college game.

Nobody from Kirkwood scored in double figures and the Eagles made only one 3-pointer. Cassidy Clark led Kirkwood with nine points. Anna Martensen had eight points and 10 rebounds for the Eagles (4-4).

Brooke Bauer scored 13 points for Northeast (8-1).

Tyra Polite did not play for Kirkwood due to a sprained ankle.
