Saulnier wins four events

Nick Saulnier had a hand in winning four events as the Washington boys swimming team beat Bettendorf 91-79 Tuesday at Washington.

Saulnier won the 100- and 200-yard freestyles and the 100 backstroke for the Warriors, and led off the winning 200 freestyle relay.

Jared Thorson won the 50 freestyle and swam on the winning 200 medley relay, Cameron Kelley also won the 500 freestyle and anchored the 200 freestyle relay.

200 freestyle – Nathan Spencer (B) 1:46.47.
200 individual medley – Nick Saulnier  (W) 1:59.51.

100 butterfly – Richard Turner  (B) 56.29.
100 freestyle – Nathan Spencer (B) 48.70.
500 freestyle – Cameron Kelley (W) 4:56.46.
200 freestyle relay – Washington (Nick Saulnier, John Allison, Donels, Kelley) 1:33.36.
100 backstroke – Saulnier (W) 53.66.
