Jordan Ashton led a balanced attack with 16 points Saturday as the 12th-ranked Kirkwood Eagles drained Iowa Lakes, 77-45, in a conference game at Johnson Hall.

Ronald Singleton scored 12 points for Kirkwood. Joe Tagarelli barely missed a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds. Matt Lassen also had 10 points for the Eagles.

Kirkwood led 33-26 at halftime, but the Eagles outscored the Lakers by 25 markers in the second half.

Kirkwood raised its records to 14-4 overall and 1-1 in the conference. Iowa Lakes fell to 8-8.

Trey Burkhall led Iowa Lakes with 12 points.
