SPRINGVILLE - The Cedar Valley Christian girls basketball team suffered a 45-42 loss to Prince of Peace in the final seconds Tuesday night.
Cedar Valley rallied from an eight-point deficit and tied the game, 42-42. The Huskies had the ball with 30 seconds left with a chance to take the lead, but they missed a shot.
Prince of Peace scored the last three points of the game for the victory.
Molly Hembera scored 19 points for Cedar Valley Christian (7-12). Maggie Cach added 11 points for the Huskies.
Miranda Schnier and Krista Atkinson scored 14 points apiece for Prince of Peace (4-15).
