Dondre Osborne and Liz Mosbach of Mount Mercy have been named Athletes of the Week by the Midwest Collegiate Conference.

Osborne, a senior from Zion, Ill., was honored in men's basketball. He averaged 23 points in two victories as the 11th-ranked Mustangs won their 13th and 14th straight games. He also averaged five assists, four rebounds and three steals and made clutch shots in both wins.

Mosbach, a junior from Ladd, Ill., was saluted in women's track and field. She won the long jump at the Dennis Young Classic in Storm Lake and also claimed the 800 meter run.
