ST. LOUIS - Daniel Yunek of Coe placed second in the hammer throw Friday with a toss of 51.63 meters at the Washington University track meet in St. Louis.

Alex Deeds of Coe finished sixth in the same event with a throw of 41.93 meters.

The Kohawks are in fifth place out of 18 teams with 11 points. The meet will continue Saturday.
