The Cedar Rapids Kernels will wear special jerseys at selected games during the 2015 Midwest League season at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

These jerseys will be sold during their particular game through a silent auction on the concourse.

The Special Jersey Nights are:

May 2 - ACS Blackout Jersey Night (benefits the American Cancer Society)
May 29 - Star Wars Night (benefits Greg's Mission)
June 12 - ALS 'Jurassic World' Jersey (benefits the ALS Society)
June 18 - Especially For You Pink Jersey (benefits the Especially for You Walk)
June 26 - Autism Action Christmas Jersey
July 4 - Armed Forces Night
July 17 - Iowa State Jersey
Aug. 8 - Hawaiian Jersey (Jimmy Buffett Night)
Aug. 20 - Hawkeye Sports Night

The Kernels will also wear special jerseys every Tuesday home game as part of Twins Tuesday, presented by Great Clips. These jerseys will be sold as part of a silent auction on Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Individual game tickets are on sale at www.kernels.com or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at (319) 896-7560. The Ticket Office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Season ticket packages and 10-game coupon books are on sale at the stadium or by calling the Kernels at (319) 363-3887.

The 2015 Kernels will arrive in Cedar Rapids on Monday, April 6 and the first chance to meet the team is on Tuesday, April 7 as part of "Meet the Kernels Night" from 5 p.m. 7:30 p.m.

The Kernels open the 2015 MWL season on Thursday, April 9 at Kane County and the home opener is Sunday, April 12 against the Beloit Snappers at 4:05 p.m.
