Linn-Mar football players Trevor Noble and Tylor Newhouse plan to continue their gridiron careers in the Iowa Conference this fall.

Noble, 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, has committed to play for Coe College. Newhouse, 6-1, 225, has committed to Central College in Pella.

Noble caught 25 passes for 616 yards and nine touchdowns last season for Linn-Mar, averaging a healthy 24.6 yards per catch. He also made 32.5 tackles and had four interceptions, including one for a touchdown.

Newhouse was the starting center on the offensive line. The Lions finished with a 9-2 record and reached the second round of the Class 4A playoffs.
