Connor Ramlo of Xavier is the winner of the Metro Spotlight Award for high school boys this week, the Metro Sports Report announced Sunday.

Ramlo, a senior, is one of the leaders of the Xavier soccer team that is ranked No. 2 in Class 2A with a 4-0 record. He has collected four goals and six assists for 14 points this season.

Ramlo was named first team all-state in 2014 and scored the game-winning goal as a sophomore in 2013 when the Saints won the state title.

Ramlo has signed to play college soccer at Creighton University in the Big East Conference.

Ramlo was a member of the starting lineup for the Xavier boys basketball team that finished third at the Class 3A state tournament this year.
