Chasney Jenkins and Tara Walls of Kirkwood have been named to the NJCAA All-Star Softball Team that will compete in the 21st Annual Canadian Open Fastpitch International Competition in British Columbia, Canada July 3-13.

Jenkins and Walls, both sophomores, are currently in Mississippi with the Eagles for the NJCAA Division II national tournament that begins Wednesday.

Jenkins, a center fielder, is hitting .558 with 10 home runs and 44 RBIs. She is 73-for-73 in stolen bases.

Walls, a second baseman, is hitting .399 with six homers and 55 RBIs.
