Jefferson, Linn-Mar, Prairie and Kennedy continued to jockey for lofty spots in the new Class 4A baseball rankings Tuesday by the Iowa High School baseball Coaches Association (IHSBCA).

Jefferson is ranked 4th, Linn-Mar 7th, Prairie 8th and Kennedy 9th in the new top-10 poll. Three teams from the CIML lead the 4A rankings with Johnston, Waukee and Southeast Polk rated 1-2-3.

1. Johnston, 2. Waukee, 3. Southeast Polk, 4. Jefferson, 5. Sioux City East, 6. Dowling, 7. Linn-Mar, 8. Prairie, 9. Kennedy, 10. Davenport Central.

1. Davenport Assumption, 2. Pella, 3. Waverly-Shell Rock, 4. West Delaware, 5. Knoxville, 6. Gilbert, 7. Williamsburg, 8. Boone, 9. Spirit Lake, 10. Spencer.
