Xavier High School graduate Jon Keller has been promoted by the Baltimore Orioles to the Bowie Baysox, their Double-A team in Bowie (Md.) that plays in the Eastern League.

Keller had a 3-4 record, 3.76 ERA and four saves at Frederick in the Class A Southern League this season. He has a career record in the minor leagues of 8-6 with a 3.06 ERA and nine saves.

SCOTT SCHEBLER (CR Prairie), Oklahoma City, OF, Triple-A, Pacific Coast League (Dodgers): Schebler went 0-for-4 Wednesday in a 5-2 victory over New Orleans. He played right field and hit sixth in the lineup. Schebler is batting .247 with 12 home runs and 42 RBIs.

CHAD CHRISTENSEN (CR Washington), Fort Myers, OF, High-A, Florida State League (Twins): Christensen went 0-3 with an RBI Wednesday in a 1-0 victory over St. Lucie. He played right field and hit sixth in the lineup. Christensen is batting .254 with two home runs and 33 RBIs.

JON KELLER (CR Xavier), Bowie, P, Double-A, Eastern League (Orioles): Keller did not pitch Wednesday for Bowie. He has not appeared in a game for Bowie since his promotion this week from Frederick.

MITCH KELLER (CR Xavier), Bristol, P, Rookie, Appalachian League (Pirates): Mitch Keller did not pitch Wednesday. He has a 0-0 record and 3.86 ERA.
