Marcus Paige will not play for the North Carolina Tar Heels in their basketball game at the University of Northern Iowa Saturday afternoon, according to a report by CBS Sports.

Paige, a Linn-Mar grad, broke a bone in his hand earlier this month.

"It was always unlikely. Still, it’s worth noting, UNC’s Marcus Paige will not play at UNI tomorrow, I’m told. Hand just isn’t ready."
