The Xavier Saints and Linn-Mar Lions are ranked in the boys basketball poll by the Associated Press this week.

The Saints are ranked No. 4 in Class 3A and the Lions are ranked No. 10 in Class 4A. The Saints climbed two spots in the rankings this week. The Lions were not ranked a week ago.

Pella leads the Class 3A poll and Iowa City West leads the Class 4A rankings.

CLASS 3A

1. Pella (7-0), 2. Wahlert (6-1), 3. Harlan (5-0), 4. Xavier (4-1), 5. Chariton (6-0), 6. Atlantic (6-0), 7. Heelan (5-2), 8. Algona (7-0), 9. (tie) Maquoketa (6-1) and MOC-Floyd Valley (6-1).

CLASS 4A

1. Iowa City West (5-1), 2. WDM Valley (6-0), 3. Pleasant Valley (7-0), 4. Des Moines Hoover (6-1), 5. Ankeny (6-0), 6. Council Bluffs Lincoln (5-0), 7. Dowling (4-1), 8. North Scott (5-1), 9. Ankeny Centennial (4-2), 10. Linn-Mar (4-2).
