FORT DODGE - Jordan Even fired a 4-under-par 67 Friday to claim medalist honors and help Kirkwood win the championship at the Iowa Central Invitational at the Fort Dodge Country Club.

Even, a Xavier grad, has won two outright titles and tied for another in Kirkwood's three tournaments this season. The sixth-ranked Eagles have won two of those tournaments after finishing second in the national tournament last spring.

Kirkwood edged Iowa Central, 302-305, for the title.
