The six Kirkwood volleyball players who helped the Eagles finish seventh at the national tournament last season will be taking their skills to four-year colleges next year.

All-Americans Madsy Richards and Alex Miner are both headed to the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Erica Armstrong, a second team all-conference selection, will play at Upper Iowa University. Caiti Peterson, another second team  all-conference pick, is staying in Cedar Rapids to play at Mount Mercy.

Jenna Laxton, who received honorable mention in the ICCAC conference, will be playing at Saint Ambrose. And Morgan Grimm, another talented  Eagle, plans to play at Lake Forest.

The six Eagles were honored during a signing ceremony at Johnson Hall on Wednesday.
