Myers will join KCC women's basketball

Johanna Myers, a 5-foot-11 swing player who averaged 24.8 points as a senior in high school, plans to join the Kirkwood women's basketball program after spending one year in college at Wisconsin-Parkside.

Myers starred at Burlington Notre Dame High School and graduated inĀ  2017. She averaged 5.5 rebounds, 3.3 steals and 2.7 assists in addition to scoring nearly 25 points per game. She made 83 3-pointers in 25 games, an average of 3.3 per game.

Myers played in 23 games at Wisconsin-Parkside this past season with one starting assignment. She averaged 12.1 minutes, 2.5 points and 1.2 rebounds for Parkside, an NCAA Division II school that finished with a 9-21 record.

Myers will have one year of eligibility at Kirkwood, which finished second at the NJCAA Division II national tournament this past season after winning the national title in 2017.
