Alexa Aldrich-Ingram of Kirkwood has been named a first team All-American in volleyball by the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Aldrich-Ingram, a 5-foot-8 sophomore from Iowa City, finished second in the country this season with 709 kills as an outside hitter.
Aldrich-Ingram helped Kirkwood finish fourth at the NJCAA Division II national tournament with a 34-10 record.
Aldrich-Ingram spent one season with the Drake volleyball team in 2017. This was her only year of eligibility at Kirkwood and she plans to play at a four-year school next season.
