Wilson stars for No. 2 Eagles

WINNEBAGO, Neb. - All-American Doug Wilson enjoyed another stellar game for the Kirkwood men's basketball team Saturday.

Wilson collected 31 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and three steals as the second-ranked Eagles defeated Little Priest Tribal College, 88-57, in an ICCAC conference game on the road.

Luke Appel also had a double-double for Kirkwood with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Jamal Stephenson scored 14 points.

The Eagles won for the 10th straight time, raising their records to 20-2 overall and 8-0 in the conference.

KIRKWOOD (88): Wilson 9 13-20 31, Appel 6 2-2 16, Stephenson 4 5-7 14, Pickens 3 0-0 8, Arrington 2 2-4 6, Thedford 1 2-4 4, Sartorius 1 0-0 3, Sims 1 0-0 2, Gosnell 0 2-3 2, Biernacki 1 0-0 2, Kasperbauer 0 0-0 0, Dee 0 0-1 0, Clark 0 0-0 0. Totals 28 26-41 88.
