MARSHALL, Mo. - Kayla Daggett of Mount Mercy rolled up 100 assists Friday as the Mustangs split two matches at the Missouri Valley College Tournament in Marshall, Mo.

Daggett collected 53 assists as the Mustangs topped Cumberland, 25-22, 29-27, 24-26, 25-19, in a tight match. She then had 47 assists as the Mustangs lost to Avila, 26-24, 26-24, 13-25, 25-18.

The split left Mount Mercy with a 9-3 record.

Maddie Bell had 36 kills in the two matches for the Mustangs and Alyssa Weldon finished with 31. Gabi Delsing made 43 digs.
