The Mount Mercy women's volleyball team lost to Evangel, 16-25, 25-17,  25-22, 16-25, 15-7, in a Heart of America Conference match Saturday at  the Hennessey Recreation Center.

The Mustangs fell to 16-9 overall and 6-6 in the conference. Evangel  raised its records to 19-7 overall and 6-5 in the league.

Macknenzie Murphy collected 21 kills and 21 digs for Mount Mercy.  Kayla Daggett dished out 39 assists. Haley Stecklein had 19 digs and  Gabi Delsing had 14.
