CORALVILLE -- The Linn-Mar Lions split a pair of games at the Iowa City West softball tournament Saturday at the UI complex.

The Lions lost to Iowa City Regina 10-3, then bounced back with a 10-0 victory over Tri-County in five innings.

Maddy Ryan and Maggie Rizor had two hits against Regina and Lauren Swanson had a two-run double. Alexis Kelsey took the loss.

Linn-Mar (6-6) collected 12 hits in the victory over Tri-County. Kelsey Duggan, Ryan, Hannah Yearling and Madison Rentschler had two hits apiece.

Rentschler had an inside-the-park home run and a double against Tri-County. Kortland Ollinger had a triple. Cheyenne Hansen was the winning pitcher.
