The Kennedy boys soccer team celebrated its new No.1 ranking Tuesday night with a 3-0 victory over Dubuque Senior in a Mississippi Valley Conference game at Kennedy.

Mitch Bobbin scored twice and Killian Magee also found for the net for the Cougars. J.J. Reinhart, Ryan Walker and Nik Newcamp collected assists.

Bobbin gave Kennedy a 1-0 lead with his first goal. He made it 2-0 in the second half with a penalty kick.

The Cougars raised their records to 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the MVC.
