Garet Christianson's hat trick leads the Cougars past Prairie

Garet Christianson scored all three Kennedy goals and led the Cougars past Prairie, 3-1, Saturday morning in a Mississippi Valley Conference boys soccer game at Kennedy.

Gabe Christianson had a pair of assists for the Cougars (11-4, 8-3 MVC). Tyler Pape also had an assist.

Colyn Snyder scored for Prairie (6-9, 5-7)

Garet Christianson scored his first goal in the seventh minute of the game. He tallied again on a penalty kick in the 19th minute.

The score was 2-0 at halftime.

Snyder's goal in the 50th minute cut the Kennedy lead to 2-1. The Cougars added an insurance goal by Garet Christianson in the 65th minute.

Garet Christianson has 19 goals, which leads the Metro. Gabe Christian leads the Metro in assists with 16.
