Katie Helmlinger scored three goals and Kennedy clinched at least a share of the Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division girls soccer title Monday at Kennedy.

Kaela Dickerman and Jordan Holmes also scored for the Cougars (13-3, 11-2).

Kennedy moved one-half game ahead of Washington in the Mississippi Division. The Warriors close out the conference season Tuesday night at Kingston Stadium against Dubuque Hempstead. If Washington loses, the Cougars win the title outright. A Warrior win and they share the title.
