Ashley Smith had a key win at No. 3 singles, then teamed with Ashley Resewehr at No. 3 doubles to clinch Linn-Mar's 5-4 win over Kennedy in girls tennis Friday at Linn-Mar.

Linn-Mar won four of six singles matches, but Kennedy knotted the score with two wins at doubles.

Linn-Mar senior Katie Rakers continued an outstanding senior season with a 10-0 win over Sarah Lasecki at No. 1 singles.
