No. 7 Kennedy pounded Linn-Mar in straight sets Tuesday night in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division volleyball match at Linn-Mar.

The Cougars beat Linn-Mar, 25-8, 25-10, 25-19.

Kennedy is 3-2 in the Mississippi Division and 22-8 overall. Linn-Mar dropped to 0-5, 8-20.

The Cougars and Lions next play in the Mississippi Valley Conference tournament Saturday at Iowa City West.
