WATERLOO - No. 7 Kennedy walloped Waterloo West in three straight sets Tuesday night in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division volleyball match.

The Cougars (4-2, 27-9) won by scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-22.

West closed out the regular season 1-5, 19-17.

Kennedy received a bye in the first round of the Class 4A regional volleyball tournament. The Cougars host either Xavier or Davenport Central in the regional semifinals on Oct. 27.
