DUBUQUE -- Josh Storla's overtime goal lifted Linn-Mar past Dubuque Senior, 2-1, Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference boys soccer game.

Despite playing down a player because of a pair of yellow cards to Will Hockenberry, Dubuque Senior scored on a breakaway in the 45th minute to take a 1-0 lead.

Linn-Mar tied it, 1-1, in the 69th minute. Jason Gingrich found Will Strouf for the volley under the bar and into the net.

The score remained tied through regulation.

Storla scored his game winner in the ninth minute of overtime off a pass from Noah Landherr.

Linn-Mar (8-8, 5-8 MVC) ened the regular season with four wins in its last five games. The Lions host Western Dubuque in a first round substate game Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Dubuque Senior (2-14, 2-11) closes out its regular season Thursday at Davenport Central.
