The Muscatine boys beat Davenport Central in the championship game of the Linn-Mar Soccer Cup Challenge on Saturday at Linn-Mar Stadium.

Muscatine won the Red Pool with a 2-0 record and Davenport Central was 2-0 in the Black Pool.

Prairie (2-3) was second in the Red Pool with a 1-1 mark, losing to Muscatine, 2-1, after beating North Scott, 2-0.

Linn-Mar notched its first win of the season with an 8-0 whipping of South Tama. The Lions (1-5) were beaten by Davenport Central, 2-1.
